• Experience an inner state of stillness

• Ride transitions gracefully

• Interweave the three Taoist realms of Heaven (Inspiration/Perspective), Human (Intention/Expression) and Earth (Action/Empowerment)

:: Finding your Inner Joy - World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Celebration ::

Saturday April 24th - 10 am to 12 noon

Location: Unity Church of Dallas / Main Sanctuary

:: Blossom in the Spring: Awaken from the Stillness of Winter, Emerge with New Life ::

Saturday April 24th - 2 to 5 pm

Location: Unity Church of Dallas / Fellowship Hall

Associated with the element of Wood in Taoist medicine, Spring is a great time to cleanse, nourish and support the liver, an organ in our bodies with an enormous capacity for healing and regeneration. On an energetic level, our life force, insistent and tenacious, springs into action during this season of "emergenc-y." Like pale seedlings pushing through the winter-hardened earth, new aspects of ourselves burst forth from below the surface as feelings, thoughts, hopes and dreams that have been gestating through the winter, are birthed and blossom in unexpected and potent ways.

The seasonal Qigong (Chi Kung) form, Blossom in the Spring, calms the liver, regulating our entire energetic system and providing serenity and ease during this galvanizing season. This beautiful sitting practice will

• Increase tranquility in the face of momentum

• Tranquilize and Replenish your Qi  (Life Force)

• Access Joy as a Fuel in even in challenging times

•  Transform Resistance into Useful Fuel

:: The Way of Joy : Living in Flow with Applied Qigong ::

Sunday April 25th - 2 pm to 4 pm

Location: Move Studio

Have you experienced moments when you feel like you are in the right place at the right time, where everything in your life seems to be flowing effortlessly? Do these experiences seem too few and far between, perhaps even accidental?

In this workshop, you will learn graceful yet powerful qigong short practices that increase your ability to live in that state of flow regardless of challenges that come your way.

Aligning what Taoists refer to as the three realms of Heaven (Inspiration), Human (Intention) and Earth (Manifestation), these practices will

• activate your Observer self, where you see the whole picture and gain perspective

• empower you to express yourself with heart-felt authenticity

• strengthen your ability to create what you want in your life.

Along with qigong, this workshop will include other innovative approaches to explore the deeper meaning behind the movement so that it may become a transformative practice in your life.
