As a veteran martial arts instructor and wellness professional, Sifu Chris has studied 16 different martial styles (since 1978) and began training in both Eastern and Western healing modalities under Oriental Medical Doctors in 1991. Continuing to pursue his life long passion for the martial arts through teaching, training and personal practice, Sifu Chris is also a loving husband, father of three and an active community leader.

Sifu Chris was awarded the title of “Sifu” (Head Teacher) by the International Chinese Boxing Association in 2003. Additionally, Sifu Chris is a Professional Member of the National Qigong Association and actively serves as Chairperson of the Information Technology and Vide-Chair of the Nominations / Elections Committee. In April of 2011, SIfu Chris was elected to a three year seat on the National Qigong Association's - Board of Directors. Serving August 2011 to August 2014. In April 2014, he was reelected to a second term and will serve from 2014 - 2017. In January 2012, Sifu Chris was elected Vice President and in January 2015, he was elected President of the National Qigong Association.

Chris clearly understands the challenging world in which we live and has worked with his network of medical professionals to custom design SimplyAware wellness and recreational therapy programs to be simple, effective and fun ways to explore and find your true best self; physically, mentally and emotionally.
